Last week the PTA had our Annual General Meeting (AGM). We elected our team members and welcome two new members to the PTA committee! Please give us a wave if you’d like to join our committee!

Most of you will know how hard everyone worked last year to achieve the fundraiser goal and mission to replace the timber trail. We CANNOT WAIT to see it up and running after the half term break!
With the start of a new school year comes a new mission. We’re working on finalising the details and will share them far and wide as soon as we can.

Budbrooke School PTA – ‘That’s A Wrap’ 2025
As we wrap up the academic year, we’re thrilled to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together at Budbrooke School PTA. This year has been one for the books and we want to say thank you to every parent, pupil, volunteer and local partner whose support has made these successes possible.
🦌 Fundraiser
In February, we pledged to raise £15,000 to replace the Y3&4 playground timber trail. Thanks to grant successes, local-business partnerships and relentless parent and pupil support, we have smashed that goal—raising £19,266!
Next academic year, watch the new timber trail come to life, giving Budbrooke children endless safe adventures during their playtime.
🫶 A Bold Digital Transformation
We bravely went cashless this year, launching our brand-new PTA website and online shop. This shift has streamlined our processes and made supporting Budbrooke easier than ever.
🌳 Highlights
Once again, we welcomed the Christmas Panto into school. Seeing the children’s eyes light up during every song and laugh is priceless. These moments stay with them long after the final curtain call.
Our Mother’s Day and Father’s Day events both had fantastic support and continue to create cherished memories. The children absolutely love choosing a special gift for their grown-ups!
We ran our very first Skipping Challenge, while igniting a passion for fitness and fun among our pupils we raised an incredible £3345.
Our Christmas and Summer Fairs are always such important events for our children. As well as the magical memories made, they generated £2978 for the PTA.
We raised £1379 through two unforgettable school discos, complete with glitter tattoos and epic playlists. One disco still to go so keep an eye on our fundraising total which along with everything mentioned above goes directly to the timber trail replacement fund!
⚽️ Sporting Wins
We secured sponsorship for two brand-new football kits so Mr. B’s teams always look their best and we didn’t stop there, a local business was able to support the replacement of the old, weather-worn goalposts—reviving an essential part of pupils’ break-time play & PE lessons.
We also bought extra cheer to Sports Day this year by selling raffle tickets, snacks and cold drinks and not to mention the music and running commentary! We hope you agree it was a great success!

Exciting News from the Budbrooke PTA!
This year, we’re setting our sights higher than ever before with our most ambitious goal yet! We’re aiming to raise an incredible £15,000 to completely replace the beloved timber trail on the Y3/4 playground.
We know how much the children adore the timber trail, and we believe that having fantastic climbing equipment is essential for outdoor play and fostering creative development.
We need your support! Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to making this dream a reality. Keep an eye on this space for updates on our progress and upcoming fundraising events.

Thank you EVERYONE who sponsored a Budbrooke pupil to do the skipping challenge! The children had so much fun doing the different skipping activities and it’s had a great impact on their confidence and skills. We raised an incredible £3195 which has given a massive boost to our our playground equipment fundraiser.
